LESSON 7 : VULNERABILITY WITH GOD

GROWTH SERIESπŸͺœπŸͺœπŸͺœ Lesson 7: Vulnerability with God

Vulnerability with God means being open before him, not hiding any details, because he’s your creator and has all your details.🀳🏻

The system of  God is one  that can blot out and delete the track record of our wrongs if we repent and turn to God.(Psalm 32:1)

The human system still keeps traces of our wrongdoings most times. That is why we are we careful and restrict access even when we have forgiven someone.

God's system is not like ours.

His ways are not our ways, He is God with or without our input and his principles are his mode of operational dealings based on the person.πŸ”₯

Every role man is functioning in was designed by God as He pleases and as His will designs it to be.

so everything we know we do that touches God, it’s because God permitted it.

Our Choices touch God😘😘

We can touch him with our praises. (Psalms 22:3) and We can make him sad with our wrong choices. because the template for our creation was in his likeness and after his image, meaning we are like him in character and features.

Knowing all this, Openess in dealings with God are to our advantage because he truly cares for the details and will see us through different phases.

Why we should be Vulnerable with God?

First, we need to be vulnerable with God is because our God knows it all, how it began, how it ends, what should be done, how it should be done to yield a desired result, He simply knows it all.(Psalms 139:1-6).

Secondly, God's desire is that we be saved meaning He wants our good (Jeremiah 29:11). God will have all men come to salvation(1Timothy 2:4) and that’s why he loves soul winning, he loves whoever shows men that Jesus is the way.(Daniel 12:3).πŸ«‚πŸ«‚ Scripture says Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.(Acts 2:21). We should be vulnerable and honest with God because he constantly desires that we are saved from any challenge that seeks to drown us.

In conclusion, the man who opens his heart to God, showing his brokenness and humbling himself before God is a man fit to be used by God to save other people, help other people this is because he will be exalted to a high position and he will have the heart to lift those around him. The man will continue to be close to God because a broken and contrite heart, God does not ignore.(Psalms 51:17).

This is why God loved David!!!. I was at a meeting where Pastor Nathaniel Bassey said something humorously😁 saying if David was Adam, we wouldn’t have been chased out, that the moment God chastened him about eating the apple and ordered him to go out of the garden, his response would have been “Where can I hide from your presence?”😁and he would have used many psalms to touch God's heart so much so that God would say “David, take another Apple”πŸ˜‚

Gen Z, let's learn vulnerability with GodπŸ€—

God bless πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
