  PRAYER 🔥 🔥🔥

I'm hoping this will stir you up to pray.

“A great while before dawn, Jesus separated himself to pray” 

Jesus separated himself unto God through prayers.🧎🏼🧎🏼🧎🏼

No wonder, He became a wonder to the world. This is because He separated himself to prayer to align his heart and mind. He knew prayer would have his undivided attention.✍🏻

There’s an express instruction from the Bible to “pray without ceasing”(1 Thessalonians 5:17), but you must realize that there are times you must segregate yourself to spend time praying, this time every gaze and focus being him throughout that moment. {You look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith}

Prayer is an art that will help you continually host the presence of God. That is the presence that demons tremble before,(James 2:19). Can you remember the story of the Sons of sceva, they faced demons without knowledge of Jesus. That was why they were embarrassed, no wonder the demons said “Jesus I know, Paul I know but who are you? Remember Apostle Paul once said that “I thank God I pray *(in tongues)* more than ye all” (1Corinthians 14:18).🗣️ It was also recorded in scripture that some people who were not physically with Jesus and his disciples in another location but had mastered the art of prayer and the art of His presence. All they did was to apply the formula and it yielded results.🤎The 12 disciples of Jesus then reported them to Jesus, Jesus told them in Mark 9:40 that whoever is not against us is for us. My God!!! Such a powerful scripture, 🔥  Meaning, Prayer is proof that YOU ARE FOR HIM.🙏🏻

HOW DO WE PRAY?

1) In simple terms,the Bible says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh, Meaning you must culture your thoughts to engage in prayer. You need to think on whatsoever is good and lovely.(Phillipians 4:8). This is  because your utterances in prayer will be a fruit of everything your mind has captured.

Even the sinners prayer(salvation) is in the understanding, so you can say your mind.

If you are reading this writeup, and you know you do not believe in Jesus or regard God in your heart, You can start by praying in words to him,🗣️because whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved, whether it be  salvation from a life of sin or salvation from a serious problem.🤍🤎

This was how Jesus prayed! Jesus prayed in understanding in the garden of gethsemane saying “Let this cup pass over me”.

It was a hard cup, honestly, because sin separated man, and sin is forever a tool in the hand of the devil to separate man from God and Jesus was about to bear the sins of the whole world and be separated from God. Jesus was never outside the presence before🥺, my friend,Pastor Wale Ojuola once taught that the cup was a cup of separation from God, 😭 that’s why Jesus didn’t want it, but he knew that this was what he had to do to get(MAN),millions and billions of us connected to the father. so he said “nevertheless let your will be done”🙏🏻

Be anxious for nothing but in everything through prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God. 

There are so many prayers you can pray in the understanding as we fondly call it in the christian faith, they include: Prayer of thanksgiving,🙇🏼‍♂️prayers of request,🤲prayers against dark forces and wiles of the enemy and so much more. You must learn to say out your mind to God in defined words, and understand that God is interested in those prayers because scripture says before you pray, he has even heard you, and whilst you are praying he has answered.

Pastor Dolapo Lawal would say, You need to understand God not just as willing but as Able, Jeremiah the Prophet says, Call upon me and I will show you great and mighty things. (Jeremiah 33:3). Learn to pray in your understanding

2) Prayer in the Spirit: YOU HAVE TO BE FILLED with the Spirit, You must have received the infilling of the spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues to pray in the spirit  (Just request for it right now where you are if you don’t have it and watch God come mightily and grant you a flow in the utterance of the spirit).

Now, after you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, don’t stop there, keep praying in tongues till you touch something of substance.(till you hit that gusher).🌫️🌊🌧️🌦️ 

The Bible says YOU CAN RISE LIKE AN EDIFICE (Jude 1:20)(AMP.). When you pray in tongues, you may not understand it but God does, If you have  this prayer language, build your faith by praying fervently, Pray without Ceasing, Your faith came by the express revelation of Gods word that you received, so build on it by praying in the spirit. 🗣️

What then? Paul says, I will sing and pray in the spirit, you have the Spirit of God and so every moment of prayer in the spirit is a refilling experience, Jesus is the cup that never runs dry.🌧️ He anoints your head with oil and your cup overflows, let the anointing sponsor this prayer and watch yourself cruise into the divine realm, there you find definite life changing encounters.🙏🏻🙏🏻

LESSON 1 : GROWTH IN ITSELF

GROWTH IN ITSELF it is recorded in Luke that Jesus GREW,in wisdom, in stature, and in Favour with God and Man. Paul the Apostle said in one of his epistles, that Childhood brought the acting and thinking pattern of a child, but Adulthood is characterized by the putting away of childish things.  Everything stated about growth shows how much it’s greatest effects are on you and how much of a personal thing it is. So Whilst you can be schooled and adviced, the onos lies on you to GROW UP.  growth in context here refers to spiritual growth but it affects all other corners as we see in Jesus.  Proverbs tells us that Wisdom is the principal and most important item on the “get” list among all our gettings.
